A white boho rug can highlight your room’s decor by accentuating the room’s color scheme, reinforcing the room’s tone, and adding in some boho flair with unique patterns and texture. When you’re designing a room, it’s important to look at factors like these and how they connect your rug to your decor so that the space feels cohesive and intentionally designed.
When you’re decorating with a white bohemian rug, you have your choice of what tone you want to set. Some rugs will use white as the main color and create a very light, airy space. Others may use it as an accent and allow brighter colors to dominate the rug’s style. If you’re leaning into the eclectic side of boho style, consider how a unique shape can bring in unexpected flair and style.

Simple geometric patterns tend to suit modern boho while designs with medallions and detailed scrollwork fit in with vintage boho style. Color: You may have narrowed your search to white bohemian area rugs, but you still have to consider how prominent you want the white to be in the rug and what shade of white you want. After all, pure white and off white each convey different tones. Aside from that, think about the other colors in the rug. Black and white and grey and white are both popular color combinations, but since white is a neutral color, it works well with a variety of colors. When you’re finalizing your rug’s color palette, look at your existing decor and choose a rug that connects to that.
